Western Canada Dilbit

Stream Description

Western Canada Dilbit is a blend comprised of the streams formerlly transported as Sunrise Dilbit Blend (SDB), Hangingstone Dilbit Blend (HDB), and Leismer Corner Blend (LCB). This dilbit is produced using SAGD technology from the Athabasca region and transported to Enbridge's Edmonton Terminal for blending. WDB is not part of the Enbridge Pooling Program, however samples are taken at Superior, WI.

Batch: WDB-7001 --- Date: March 12, 2026 --- Sample Location: Superior

Western Canada Dilbit saw slightly increased TAN and metals for the March sample. The new light ends test recorded reduced pentanes and hexanes. Simulated distillation results showed a larger than usual residue fraction.
