Canadian Natural High TAN is a mix of thermal heavy oil production in the Athabasca area produced from the CNRL Kirby assets and Cenovus Foster Creek. CNX is delivered by IPL's Cold Lake Expansion Pipeline to Hardisty.

Marginally elevated density and sulphur, along with reduced BTEX, heptanes, and octanes, were recorded for the July sample of Canadian Natural High TAN. Simulated distillation results showed less distillate and more residue.
