Stream Description

Borealis Heavy Blend (BHB) is a Suncor Energy Canada diluted bitumen (dilbit) comprised of SAGD produced bitumen and hydrotreated naphtha/conventional diluent.

It is shipped from Fort McMurray to Edmonton and Hardisty, then to further markets across North America.

Elevated density, MCR, TAN and meals were observed for the September sample of Borealis Heavy Blend. Light ends saw reduced C6 x C8 contents.
